Rehabilitation Center has a job opening for “Business Manager”
Job duties include managing a staff of 5 that maintains accounting books and records for two non-profit organizations that serve the developmentally disabled located in Trinidad, Colorado.
Job requirements:
STAFF SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises six employees in the Accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university plus four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medicaid billing, contracts, health, property and casualty insurance, workman’s compensation, unemployment a plus, along with staff supervisory experience. Must be proficient with Micro Soft Office, Great Plains and Peachtree Accounting software systems.
